Record bowls

Hey everyone, I recently worked on a project and thought I would share it with you :)

I am helping put on a home school gala and this years theme is Red Carpet Premier. One of the things we are using to help decorate are these bowls you can make with records that you no longer can use.

Turn your oven on to 300. Take a cookie sheet and put a medium sized bowl on the cookie sheet upside down. Then put your record on the upside down bowl and put it in the oven for about 3 minutes. It should kind of form around the bowl. Take it out of the oven and quickly put it inside a different bowl and shape it however you want. You only have about a minute to do this before it hardens. These look awesome and you can use them for a lot of stuff! :)

Happy memorial day friends and family!
School is almost done! :) We are all finishing our last subjects and hopefully planning to be done tomorrow. Wednesday we are planning on going to Helena to spend some time with mom's side of the family for the week.
We just got done planting flower seeds in our garden which was very interesting with everyone helping. :) We are guessing we planted about 100,00 seeds! I think we are hoping that quantity will make up for our lack of gardening skills! ;)
Colby is in AIT right now (Advanced Individual Training). He is almost done and doing great!! The last test he took there he got a 99%! He is thinking he will be home about the 19th though not positive about that date. We are all very excited for him to be home! He will have been gone 18 weeks when he returns!!
Things are crazy busy and the summer hasn't even started yet! That is just a small update on whats been going on recently here. I am hoping to get some pictures up here soon but we lost our camera which has all of our recent pictures on it! So until then I guess this will have to do. :)

This is the demonstration I helped put together for our taekwondo tournament. Its basically just a fun routine we put together every year with music to show some of what we have been learning. I am 5th, Callie is 7th, and Cianna is 8th in line. :)

FIRST SKI DAY

Today was the first day for Cianna, Cassidy and Charity to go skiing. Callie had skied once before. What a great day!!! All the girls learned how to ski and became pretty confident by the end of the afternoon.

We were a little concerned whether Charity would enjoy skiing or not....needles to say she loved it. Notice the lift tickets have the work fun written on them...Charity would concur.

The ski instructor was very good and had all 4 of the girls.

Notice Cori is absent....she is with her friends "boarding"....skiing is for old people and little girls!
